Hello All:
Recent energy price increase has left LPG and Gas costly in India.
As informed people, we are supposed to install renewable energy options at our
house.
I give some links to those who are interested...
1. Solar water heater Rs. 18000
soft loans are available...
http://mnes.nic.in/snov02.htm
2.http://mnes.nic.in
click major programmes and in solar (and others), you can see a list of
manufacturers involved in all parts of India.
3.States have individual programmes also.
http://www.tn.gov.in/citizen/energy.htm
They have subsidies for purchasing such stuff. So, I encourage all of you to
explore where it can be used in your friends/relatives houses.

Ministry for Rural Development
This is the link for Minisitry for Rural Development in India
http://rural.nic.in/
On the left side of this website, there are links to state rural development departments called "State RD Departments". Also, there is another link called "NIRD/SIRD" which is something called State Institute for Rural Development maintained by the RD department of each state. Immense data, facts and details are available about the present and past projects and lot more. This link might be useful especially for the persons who have been assigned to do the research on statewise NGOs.
